A/N: This fic is an AU of the episode “Crossover;" in other words, it takes the same basic premise and shuffles things around a little. It shouldn't be too hard to follow.

This fic is WIP. It should clock in at around 20,000 words by the time it's finished.

Data and Geordie build an amazing pillow-fort, but are forced to disassemble it for Cardassian peace talks. Troi finds new life in her hair.

Alien minstrels trap Riker in a 90's dreamscape, only Picard can swashbuckle him free. Data and Geordie tie the hula hoop competition again.

I would watch all of these. Seriously.

Summary: Sequel to Down To This. Company man Sylar has brought a superpowered (and psychotic) Mohinder to the Primatech facility in Hartsdale for treatment. After some finagling, he manages to get himself put in charge of Mohinder's recovery. With Mohinder by his side, Sylar hopes to live his newly minted dream of being Gabriel Petrelli, a Good Guy with a nice house in the suburbs, a loving partner, and a (relatively) honest job. Changing his identity, however, is proving to be much more difficult than he originally assumed, particularly when the people around him refuse to let him forget about his past.

Ha ha, it's kind of ridiculous how excited I am about all of this. But seriously, what I've seen of the site has been fun so far; I like the discover-as-you-go aspect of it. They really need to work on getting more servers, though, because it's pretty redonkulous how difficult it is to access the site. A little more interaction in some of the chapters would be nice, too (although I'm thinking that different objects might appear at random when you go back to certain chapters?) and the site is eerily quiet. I don't usually like music on websites, but I think this one needs it. Or at the very least, sound effects when you click on things.

I'm looking forward to figuring out how dueling works - I wonder if the type of wand you have influences it at all. That would be awesome, although with my wand, it sounds like it might backfire on me a lot. The potion brewing, etc., also look like they'll be fun.

...and I think I might have to rejoin Hogwarts Elite, because I've forgotten how much I love the Potterverse. YAY MAGIC. Oh, and I'm MirrorSickle110, if anyone wants to friend me over there.

The Good - the baby's taking a nap early and I've got the opportunity to make a dent in my fic! Hooray.

The Bad - ...and I just realized that the last 800 words or so completely don't work, so I have to start that section over. Woe.

Things don't go exactly as planned, and Julian and Garak are confronted with the fact that loving someone doesn't mean that you don't also find them massively irritating.

A/N: This is not directly a sequel to They Stumble That Run Fast, but it can be seen as taking place in the same universe.
