"But you did stop yourself. Besides, I'm not sure I'd mind if you hadn't." That last part was said lightly.
Phero-hormonal Mohinder, I suspect? Awwwww yeah.
“Hi,” Sylar said.
Mohinder slammed the door shut and locked it.
I lol'd. And then I lol'd again When Sylar reveals he's not there to talk to Mohinder, and Mohinder seems a little deflated. ;)
It was Gabriel. He was lying on his back, his head lolled to the side, one arm hanging off the bed limply. There was a huge bruise in the shape of a rope circling his neck; the black and purple contrasted sharply with the clammy paleness of the rest of his skin. He was wearing his glasses, but the lenses were so cracked that Sylar couldn’t see whether his eyes were closed or open.
D: Yeeeeaaaahhh.... I don't think Gabriel is coming back.
Peter would be good at a crazy superpowered halfway house; he handled this really well! Though I suspect when Sylar finally puts together all the clues about his mother, it will no longer go so well. (Or maybe when he figures out what happened with Mohinder and Peter.) Speaking of his mother, jeez, the detail of her being pregnant not only continues the charade that Peter is Sylar's brother, but makes the truth all the more messed up. :(
“Right, so he’s a serial killer with multiple personalities, the ability to kill people with his mind, and he’s a Petrelli. That just makes it worse."
LOL Yeah, Sylar was bad enough before, but now they're definitely doomed!
"But I’ve just discovered that you are not only a serial killer, but also, on occasions, a child and a robot."
Way to matter-of-factly bring down the room, Mohinder. And I like how in this story he seems to constantly stalk from the room and shut himself up in another one. It's like superpowered adolescence!
"You need to drop the whole idea of you and Mohinder being a couple. You can’t force someone into a relationship like that. Plus, neither one of you is in a good place to be involved romantically with anyone, let alone each other.”
“Oh,” Sylar said. “Yeah, okay.” He paused. “But, what if, later on, he wants to be in relationship with me? That would be okay, right?”
LOL Oh, Sylar. Although as sad as this is, it might be sadder that I'd like it to work out. :P
I was happy to see you updated this story! (Trying hard to work on my own...)
