I was so, SO excited to see this when I logged on this morning. This series has been one of my absolute favourite pieces of Mylar fic, and this conclusion didn't disappoint. I had so many things to say after reading it, but then I saw nowhack's comment, and I'm tempted to post a giant, glittery DITTO. Your characterisations are spot on-- the way you write Mohinder's side of the experience, the way he wavers between pissed off, to empathetic, to angsting over his own mortality was so pitch perfect, and your writing is so expressive and intelligent that you manage to send your readers on that journay with him. Your Sylar is closer to the image I have of him in my head than the way the show's writers have portrayed him has been (especially lately), so I want to thank you for giving us a character that walks the line between psychotic and almost-sweet and just the way we love him, even when canon-Sylar isn't exactly holding up his end of the bargain. I don't have the words to say how much I love the way you ended this arc. Leaving their connection open, without belittling Mohinder's principles or values; having him unsure of whether he plans to help Sylar or hurt him, I have so much respect for this, and for you for not taking the easy way out with the "they-have-sex-and-team-up-and-live-happily-ever-after" option (not that I have anything against those fics, hell, I've written a few, but it's nice to see someone change it up every now and then). And this comment is turning into an essay, but none of this expresses how much I absolutely ADORE this story, and you for writing it. Thank you SO much!!!
